Rehearsal Dinner
What better way to relax the evening before the big day than with a group of your closest family and friends, a lovely meal and a few glasses of champagne on the soft teak decks of the “America” in the middle of San Diego Bay. The summer wedding months are blessed with beautiful long days. There is no rush. Guests have time to get to the yacht after work and still have a wonderful few hours of daylight and relaxed evening sailing. Dinner can be as elaborate or casual as you wish. Here is a letter from a late afternoon and evening dinner client:

Hi Warren,
Our evening was AMAZING. Just astounding really. Boy did you all deliver on your promise! The experience was one of a kind, memorable, and perfect in every way (I honestly couldn’t think of one thing I would change). The crew was personable, efficient and kind. And we are well pleased. The only trouble is now everyone is wondering how we will ever top that experience…….so the challenge is set and the bar has been raised. I can’t thank you enough for all you’ve done to help. Truthfully, you’re kindness and flexibility made my job as easy as can be.
I’ll be departing for London early next week, but will keep your company on file for the future –

PS: We need to add gratuity! Please can you add $1300 as such & resend a receipt? I am already conspiring to come up with ways to do it again (I seem to have grown sea legs) – I do hope our paths will cross again soon!

It’s really hard to top a wonderful letter like that. Be prepared to get a few of these from your guests.
Post Wedding Brunch cruise / sail
Some folks have caught their planes and are long gone. Others made plans to spend more time with you and you really need to do something very special to entertain them. Maybe they just need a lot of fresh air after the wonderful evening before. Why not thrill them to bits as they become ‘center of attention’ on this magnificent yacht cruising up and down glorious San Diego bay. All the small boats gather around to see how pretty you are. Guests on your special yacht exchange conversation with the curious onlookers before picking up the breeze and leaving all behind. The “America” sails very fast for her 139 Ft size and she is a sight to see under full sail. Some nice fresh box lunches, a cold buffett and some even colder drinks will finish the ingredients required to show your friends a truely wonderful part of San Diego…..the view from the water.
